  • 1 loaf garlic bread (store-bought or homemade)
Sauce and Cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce (or pizza sauce) More sauce can be added to taste.
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese You can substitute with other cheeses if desired.
Toppings
  • Toppings of your choice (e.g., mushrooms, bell peppers, olives, onions) Customize to your preference.
  • Fresh basil or Italian seasoning (for garnish, optional) Enhances flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to the temperature recommended on your garlic bread package, usually around 400°F (200°C).
  2. If using store-bought garlic bread, slice it in half lengthwise to create two flat pizza bases. If making garlic toast from scratch, spread butter and minced garlic on toasted bread slices.
Assembly
  1. Spread a generous layer of marinara sauce over each piece of garlic bread.
  2. Top the sauce with shredded mozzarella cheese and sprinkle your chosen toppings.
Cooking
  1. Put the prepared garlic toast pizzas on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  2. Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. If desired, sprinkle with fresh basil or Italian seasoning.
Serving
  1. Cut into slices and serve hot.

Notes

Feel free to customize the cheese and toppings. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes for the best texture.
