Method
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to the temperature recommended on your garlic bread package, usually around 400°F (200°C).
- If using store-bought garlic bread, slice it in half lengthwise to create two flat pizza bases. If making garlic toast from scratch, spread butter and minced garlic on toasted bread slices.
Assembly
- Spread a generous layer of marinara sauce over each piece of garlic bread.
- Top the sauce with shredded mozzarella cheese and sprinkle your chosen toppings.
Cooking
- Put the prepared garlic toast pizzas on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute. If desired, sprinkle with fresh basil or Italian seasoning.
Serving
- Cut into slices and serve hot.
Notes
Feel free to customize the cheese and toppings. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes for the best texture.
