Preparation
- Peel the potatoes if desired, and cut them into uniform fries, aiming for about 1/4-inch thickness.
- Soak the sliced potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes, then drain and pat them dry.
- In a large bowl, toss the dried potato fries with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Cooking
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the seasoned fries in a single layer in the fryer basket and air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Once the fries reach your desired crispness, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top and toss gently to combine.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For freezing, arrange fries in a single layer on a baking sheet before transferring to a zip-top bag.
