- Fold in the shredded mozzarella cheese into the dry mixture until well incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, mix the melted butter and milk together, then gradually pour into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Using your hands, take small portions of the dough and shape them into balls, ensuring the cheese is well enclosed.
Cooking
- In a deep frying pan, heat oil over medium heat until hot.
- Carefully drop the cheese balls into the hot oil in batches, frying until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per batch.
- Use a slotted spoon to remove the cheese bombs and drain on a paper towel.
- Allow them to cool for a minute before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
