Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to get it nice and ready for your bread.
- In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix until it becomes a smooth paste.
- Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise. Use your hands to gently pull apart some of the bread from the center to create a little more space for that wonderful herb and cheese mixture.
- Generously spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on each side of the bread.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan and shredded mozzarella generously on top of the garlic butter.
Baking
- Place the bread halves on a baking sheet. Pop them in the oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges are slightly golden.
- Once done, remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before slicing into pieces. Enjoy!
Notes
Top Tips: Use fresh parsley for optimal flavor, experiment with different cheeses, monitor baking time carefully, and ensure butter is softened for spreading. Storing: Let cool completely, wrap tightly, and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for a month. Reheat at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
