Ingredients

  • 2 pieces chicken breasts Cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced For marinating the chicken
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce Adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For cooking the chicken
For the Bento Box
  • 1 cup steamed rice Cook according to package instructions
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (e.g., broccoli, carrots) Steamed or cooked according to preference
  • 2 pieces green onions, sliced For garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, soy sauce, and olive oil. Add the chicken pieces and toss to coat evenly. Let it marinate for about 10-15 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken pieces and sauté for about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, prepare the rice according to package instructions and steam the mixed vegetables for about 5-7 minutes.
Assembly
  1. In a bento box or meal prep container, place a portion of steamed rice on one side.
  2. Add the sautéed chicken on top and fill the other side with the mixed veggies.
  3. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
Serving

Notes
