Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 8 oz egg noodles Use any type of egg noodles for this recipe.
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced thinly Choose any tender cut for best results.
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter For a richer flavor.
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced Adjust based on garlic preference.
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce Ensure it's halal-certified if needed.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season to personal preference.
  • 2 green onions chopped For garnish.
  • Fresh parsley For garnish.
  • to taste Chili flakes Optional for a hint of spice.

Method

Cooking
  1. Start by boiling a pot of salted water. Add the egg noodles and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Once done, drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
  3. Increase the heat to high. Add the sliced steak to the skillet, season with salt, pepper, and soy sauce. Sear each side for about 2-3 minutes or until it reaches your desired doneness.
  4. Lower the heat to medium. Add the boiled noodles to the skillet, tossing gently to coat everything in that glorious garlic butter sauce. Allow it to cook for another 2 minutes to absorb flavors.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and parsley. If you love a bit of heat, sprinkle some chili flakes on top.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in a skillet adding a splash of water or extra butter to revive flavors.
