  • 4 tablespoons butter Unsalted butter preferred for better control of seasoning.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Adjust quantity based on preference.
  • Salt, to taste Add according to personal preference.
  • Black pepper, to taste Freshly cracked is recommended.
  • Parsley, chopped (for garnish) Adds color and freshness.
  • Parmesan cheese, grated (optional) Can add a savory touch if desired.

Method

Preparation
  1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Add noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. While noodles cook, melt butter in a pan over medium heat and add minced garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, stirring occasionally.
  3. Reserve a cup of pasta water, drain the noodles, and add them to the pan with garlic butter. Toss well to coat.
  4. Season noodles with salt and black pepper to taste. If they're dry, add reserved pasta water until desired consistency is achieved.
  5. Plate the Garlic Butter Noodles, garnish with parsley, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if using.
  6. Sit down with family, enjoy the delicious aromas, and savor your creation!

Notes

For an extra garlic flavor, consider adding more minced garlic or using roasted garlic. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, without garnish. Reheat in a pan with a splash of water to restore moisture.
