Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 2 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
Taco Shells and Toppings
  • Taco shells (soft or hard, depending on your preference)
  • Toppings (lettuce, cheese, avocado, tomatoes, etc.)

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by dicing your chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Cooking
  1. Add the diced chicken to the skillet and cook for around 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and no longer pink in the center.
  2. Once the chicken is cooked, reduce the heat to low. Pour in the honey and BBQ sauce, stirring thoroughly to coat the chicken. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Assembly
  1. While the chicken simmers, warm your taco shells as directed on the packaging.
  2. Fill each taco shell with the garlic butter honey BBQ chicken mixture, and add your favorite toppings!
  3. Serve the tacos warm and enjoy!

Notes

Substitution Options: If you prefer turkey or tofu, both work as great substitutes for chicken. Avoid overcooking the chicken to keep it tender. Balance BBQ sauce and honey for optimal flavor.
