Preparation
- Start by dicing your chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Cooking
- Add the diced chicken to the skillet and cook for around 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and no longer pink in the center.
- Once the chicken is cooked, reduce the heat to low. Pour in the honey and BBQ sauce, stirring thoroughly to coat the chicken. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Assembly
- While the chicken simmers, warm your taco shells as directed on the packaging.
- Fill each taco shell with the garlic butter honey BBQ chicken mixture, and add your favorite toppings!
- Serve the tacos warm and enjoy!
Notes
Substitution Options: If you prefer turkey or tofu, both work as great substitutes for chicken. Avoid overcooking the chicken to keep it tender. Balance BBQ sauce and honey for optimal flavor.
