Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces bone-in chicken thighs (skin-on for crispy texture) For a leaner option, boneless thighs can be used.
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter Can substitute with olive oil for a healthier option.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Freshly minced gives the best flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Adds a lovely smoky undertone.
  • to taste fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by patting dry the chicken thighs with paper towels for crispy skin.
  2. In a bowl, mix salt, pepper, and paprika. Rub this seasoning all over the chicken thighs.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, stirring until fragrant for about 1 minute.
  2. Place the chicken thighs skin-side down into the skillet and sear without moving them for about 7-8 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Carefully flip the thighs and cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  4. Baste with some melted garlic butter during the last few minutes of cooking.
  5. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For best results, don't overcrowd the pan to ensure even cooking and a perfect sear. For flavor, you can add lemon zest or your favorite spices.
