Dough Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup warm water around 110°F (43°C)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Garlic Butter
  • 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted for brushing the rolls
Optional Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Mix well.
  2. Slowly stir in the warm water and melted butter until a messy dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the kneaded dough into a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for about 30 minutes.
Baking
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the risen dough and divide it into 10 small portions.
  2. Shape each portion into a ball and place them on a greased baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, melt 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter and mix in the minced garlic.
  4. Brush the garlic butter over the shaped rolls and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Optional: Sprinkle the warm rolls with fresh chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

To store, let rolls cool completely and place in an airtight container. They can be kept at room temperature for up to 2 days, refrigerated for up to a week, or frozen for up to 3 months. Reheat in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 10-15 minutes.
