  • 1 pound Sea Scallops, thoroughly cleaned and patted dry
  • 4 tablespoons Butter, melted
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice, freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, chopped, for garnish
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste Season as desired

Preparation
  1. Begin by thoroughly cleaning and patting dry one pound of sea scallops.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Mix well to incorporate all the flavors.
  3. Place the scallops in a mixing bowl and drizzle half of the garlic butter sauce over them. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Toss gently to coat.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer according to the manufacturer’s instructions, usually around 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the seasoned scallops in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they aren’t crowded.
  3. Air fry the scallops for about 6-8 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Flip them halfway through to ensure even cooking.
Serving
  1. Once cooked, remove the scallops from the air fryer and drizzle the remaining garlic butter sauce over the top.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Make sure the scallops are dried to avoid steaming in the air fryer. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days, and reheat in the air fryer.
