  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For the Sandwich
  • 4 slices bread (sourdough or whole wheat work well)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or your favorite Halal cheese)
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (like basil or parsley, optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until creamy and fully incorporated.
  2. Spread a generous amount of the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
Cooking
  1. Place two slices butter-side down in a skillet over medium heat. Sprinkle half of the cheese evenly on top.
  2. Place the remaining bread slices butter-side up on top of the cheese. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown, then carefully flip to the other side. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, ensuring the cheese melts perfectly.
  3. Remove from heat, allow it to cool slightly, slice it in half, sprinkle with fresh herbs if desired, and enjoy!
