  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour Can substitute with almond flour or gluten-free flour.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8 inch baking pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly for a few minutes.
  3. Whisk in the granulated sugar until fully combined, then add the eggs one by one, whisking until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.
  4. Pour in the vanilla extract followed by the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Gently fold the ingredients until just combined.
Baking
  1. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly with a rubber spatula.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cooling and Serving
  1. Let the brownies cool in the pan before cutting them into squares.
