Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, mix the melted butter, mashed bananas, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Transfer the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth out the top.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cooling and Serving
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
- Once cooled, slice into squares and enjoy.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Refrigerate for about a week or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat slightly in the microwave before serving.
