- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal later.
- In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar, mixing well until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract until everything is well combined.
- Gradually add in the flour, baking powder, and salt, stirring gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix!
- Gently fold diced apples into the batter, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan and bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the blondies cool completely in the pan. Once cooled, drizzle or spread caramel sauce on top for frosting. Optionally, sprinkle with chopped nuts.
