Preparation
  1. Grab a large serving dish and spread the refried beans evenly across the bottom.
  2. Carefully spread the sour cream over the layer of beans using the back of a spoon.
  3. Pour the salsa over the sour cream layer, ensuring it covers the surface well.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of everything.
  5. Top off your dip with chopped green onions for a fresh touch.
  6. For the best flavor, allow the dip to chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For healthier alternatives, substitute sour cream with Greek yogurt, or use dairy-free cheese. Make the dip a few hours in advance for better layering flavors. Avoid over-stirring after layering to keep the distinct layers.
