Ingredients
  

For the peach filling
  • 4 cups Fresh Peaches, sliced Use 6-8 medium ripe peaches.
  • 0.5 cups Brown Sugar Half for the filling.
  • 1 tablespoons Lemon Juice Enhances flavor.
  • 0.25 teaspoons Salt Balances sweetness.
For the oat topping
  • 1 cup Oats Old-fashioned oats work best.
  • 0.5 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 0.5 cups Butter, melted
  • 0.5 cups Brown Sugar Remaining sugar for the topping.
  • 1 teaspoons Cinnamon

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss the sliced peaches with half of the brown sugar (½ cup), lemon juice, and a sprinkle of salt. Let this sit for about 10 minutes.
Making the Topping
  1. In a separate bowl, combine the oats, flour, melted butter, the remaining brown sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Stir until well combined and cbly.
Assembling and Baking
  1. Pour the peach mixture into a greased 9x13 baking dish.
  2. Evenly distribute the oat topping over the peaches.
  3. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and peaches are bubbling.
Serving
  1. Let the peach crisp cool for about 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm, preferably with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

For best flavor and texture, use ripe peaches. You can substitute fresh peaches with thawed frozen peaches. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days, or freeze for up to three months.
