Ingredients

Seeds
  • 0.25 cup sunflower seeds
  • 0.25 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 0.25 cup sesame seeds
  • 0.25 cup chia seeds
Other Ingredients
  • 1 cup water
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • to taste garlic powder, onion powder, or herbs (optional) For added flavor

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, chia seeds, salt, and any optional seasonings.
  3. Slowly add the water into the mixture, stirring well until everything is coated and starts to stick together. Let it sit for about 10 minutes to allow the chia seeds to absorb the water.
Baking
  1. Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet, aiming for about 1/8 inch thickness.
  2. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges start to turn golden.
  3. Remove from the oven, allow to cool completely, then break into pieces.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Reheat in the oven to restore crunchiness.
