  • 6 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips Use a good quality brand for best results
  • 1 cup strawberry-flavored powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup dried strawberries Optional, for added flavor
  • a pinch salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, add the Rice Chex cereal. Set it aside.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and peanut butter. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each session until melted and smooth.
  3. Pour the melted mixture over the cereal and gently fold until evenly coated.
  4. In a separate resealable bag, combine the strawberry-flavored powdered sugar and dried strawberries (if using). Transfer the coated cereal in batches to the bag, seal, and shake well.
  5. Spread the coated cereal onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Allow it to cool before serving.

Notes

For the best flavor, use fresh freeze-dried strawberries. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
