  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  2. In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  3. Gradually add the dry mix to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined—be cautious not to overmix.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little butter or oil.
Cooking
  1. Pour about 1/4 cup of the batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
  2. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until bubbles form on the surface, then flip to cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Stack the pancakes and serve warm with your favorite toppings.

Notes

To enhance flavor, consider adding a hint of lemon zest. Avoid overcrowding the skillet for even cooking. Dairy-free option available using plant-based cream cheese.
