  • 2 cups plain yogurt (Greek or regular) Greek yogurt creates a thicker texture.
  • 1/4 cup honey (or agave syrup for a vegan option)
  • 1/2 cup nuts (such as walnuts or pistachios), chopped
  • to taste fresh mint leaves for garnish Optional, for garnish.

Preparation
  1. Start by placing your yogurt in a large mixing bowl. Stir in 2 tablespoons of honey until well combined.
  2. In a beautiful serving dish or individual bowls, spread a generous scoop of the yogurt mixture evenly at the bottom.
  3. Arrange the halved figs on top of the yogurt, cut-side up.
  4. Drizzle some honey over the figs and sprinkle the chopped nuts on top.
  5. Finish with fresh mint leaves for garnish. Best served right away or chilled until ready.

Notes

Fig Soufra is best enjoyed fresh. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reassembly may be needed before serving if stored.
