Preparation

  3. Rub each potato with olive oil, ensuring even coverage. Sprinkle with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Baking
  1. Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack or on a baking sheet. Bake for approximately 45-60 minutes.
  2. To check for doneness, insert a fork into the center of one potato; it should slide in smoothly.
  3. If it feels firm, return the potatoes to the oven for another 5-10 minutes.

  1. Once cooked, let the potatoes cool slightly, then slice them open and fluff the insides with a fork.
  2. Top with your favorite toppings.
