- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the all-purpose flour on a baking sheet and bake for about 5 minutes to heat-treat it. Let it cool before using.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Stir in the heat-treated flour and salt until combined.
- Pour in the vanilla extract and milk, mixing until everything is well combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips, ensuring they’re evenly distributed.
- If the dough is too thick, add a little more milk until you reach your desired consistency.
- You can either enjoy immediately or chill in the refrigerator for a firmer texture.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. For longer storage, freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes before enjoying.
