Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the plain yogurt, eggs, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
- In another bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently while pouring in the vegetable oil.
- Lightly grease a cake pan and pour the batter into it, spreading evenly.
Baking
- Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cooling and Serving
- Once baked, allow the cake to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
- Serve warm or at room temperature and enjoy!
Notes
For best results, use Greek yogurt for a creamier texture and avoid over-mixing the batter. Store in an airtight container for up to three days or refrigerate for about a week.
