Preparation
- Start by washing, peeling, and cutting the carrots into sticks. Aim for uniform sizes to ensure even cooking.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss your carrot sticks in this mixture until they’re well coated.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
Cooking
- Place the seasoned carrots into the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding for the best texture.
- Cook for about 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even baking.
Serving
- Once they are golden brown and fork-tender, remove them from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving dish.
- If desired, sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For storing, refrigerate in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Freeze for longer storage, but the texture may soften upon thawing. Reheat in the air fryer or oven.
