- Begin by washing, pitting, and chopping your ripe plums into smaller pieces.
- In a saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar fully dissolves.
- Once the sugar syrup has cooled slightly, add the chopped plums and lemon juice. Blend everything together in a blender or food processor until you reach a smooth consistency.
- Pour the blended mixture into a shallow dish, cover, and place it in the freezer. Stir every 30 minutes for the first 2 hours to break up the ice crystals.
- Allow the sorbet to freeze for a total of about 4-5 hours or until firm.
- Scoop the sorbet into bowls, add your favorite toppings, and enjoy!
Notes
Store your Easy Plum Sorbet in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Let sit out at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping if too hard.
