  1. Begin by washing, pitting, and chopping your ripe plums into smaller pieces.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar fully dissolves.
  3. Once the sugar syrup has cooled slightly, add the chopped plums and lemon juice. Blend everything together in a blender or food processor until you reach a smooth consistency.
  4. Pour the blended mixture into a shallow dish, cover, and place it in the freezer. Stir every 30 minutes for the first 2 hours to break up the ice crystals.
  5. Allow the sorbet to freeze for a total of about 4-5 hours or until firm.
  6. Scoop the sorbet into bowls, add your favorite toppings, and enjoy!

Notes

Store your Easy Plum Sorbet in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Let sit out at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping if too hard.
