Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 2 pieces ripe peaches, sliced Select peaches that are slightly soft to the touch for the best flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons sugar You can use a sugar substitute if desired.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter Use unsalted butter for better control over flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash the peaches thoroughly. Slice them in half, remove the pit, and cut them into wedges about ½ inch thick.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon.
Cooking
  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the butter, allowing it to melt and slightly foam.
  2. Once hot, add the sliced peaches to the skillet in a single layer. Sprinkle half of the sugar-cinnamon mixture on top and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn golden brown.
  3. Gently flip the peaches and add the remaining sugar-cinnamon mixture. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until tender.
  4. Serve warm, either on their own or with your favorite topping.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in a skillet or microwave before serving.
