Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces ripe bananas, sliced Choose bananas that are perfectly ripe for maximum flavor.
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Can be substituted with Greek yogurt for a tangier flavor.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups whipped topping (like Cool Whip) Gently fold into the cream cheese mixture.
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained Adds a fruity layer to the dessert.

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully combined with the cream cheese mixture. Be careful not to deflate the whipped topping.
  3. In a 9×13 inch dish, spread half of the cream cheese mixture on the bottom.
  4. Layer half of the sliced bananas over the cream cheese.
  5. Spoon on the crushed pineapple and drizzle with a little chocolate syrup.
  6. Add the remaining portion of the cream cheese mixture and top with the rest of the bananas.
  7. Finish by drizzling more chocolate syrup on top and sprinkle with crushed walnuts if using.
  8. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4-6 hours, or overnight.
  9. Scoop out servings and add extra whipped topping or cherries if desired.
