Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a bundt pan or tube pan generously with cooking spray or melted butter to prevent sticking.
- In a large bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon until well combined.
- Cut the refrigerated biscuit dough into quarters.
- Roll each piece of dough in the sugar-cinnamon mixture until fully coated.
- Layer the coated pieces of dough in the prepared baking dish, sprinkling nuts or chocolate chips between layers if desired.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add the brown sugar and stir until well-combined and slightly thickened. Pour this mixture evenly over the layered dough.
Baking
- Place the bundt pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes in the pan before inverting it onto a serving plate.
- Prepare to pull apart and enjoy!
Notes
For a healthier twist, consider using whole wheat biscuit dough. Keep an eye on baking time as ovens vary, and ensure the pan is greased to prevent sticking.
