Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
Layer Ingredients
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare an 8×8-inch baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and brown sugar until well mixed.
  4. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  5. Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the graham cracker crust.
  6. Distribute the mini marshmallows evenly over the chocolate chips.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining graham cracker mixture on top of the marshmallows.
Baking
  1. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  2. Remove from oven and let cool for at least 15 minutes before lifting out of the pan.
  3. Allow to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

For gluten-free options, use gluten-free graham crackers. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for three months. Reheat in the microwave for 10-15 seconds to regain gooey texture.
