Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups strong brewed coffee, cooled This will serve as the flavorful dip for the ladyfingers.
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese Gives the dessert its creamy texture.
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can be substituted with whipped coconut cream for a lower-calorie option.
  • 1/2 cup sugar To sweeten the cream mixture.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds depth of flavor.
  • 1 package ladyfinger cookies These will be dipped in coffee.
  • Cocoa powder for dusting To garnish before serving.
  • Dark chocolate shavings (optional) For added decoration and flavor.

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by brewing your coffee and allowing it to cool. This will be the flavorful dip for the ladyfingers.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream and sugar. Using an electric mixer, whip the mixture until soft peaks form. Then, gently fold in the mascarpone cheese and vanilla extract until smooth and well-combined.
  3. Take each ladyfinger and briefly dip it into the cooled coffee. Be careful not to soak them too long, or they may become soggy!
  4. In a serving dish, begin layering your dessert. Start with a layer of dipped ladyfingers, followed by a generous layer of the mascarpone mixture. Repeat this process, finishing with the mascarpone layer on top.
  5. Cover the dish and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours; overnight is even better!
  6. Just before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and sprinkle with dark chocolate shavings if desired.
Serving
  1. Slice and serve your masterpiece for everyone to enjoy!

Notes

To keep your Easy Halal Tiramisu fresh, cover and store it in the refrigerator; it will last up to 3 days. For the best texture, it's ideal to enjoy fresh rather than reheated. Avoid microwave methods, as they can affect the creamy texture.
