- Wash the broccoli florets and chop them into bite-sized pieces. Mince the garlic and ginger, set aside.
Cooking
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, stirring regularly.
- Add the minced garlic and ginger to the skillet. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, careful not to burn them.
- Toss the broccoli florets into the skillet, and add the soy sauce and oyster sauce. Mix well to coat evenly.
- Cover the skillet and simmer for about 5 minutes to allow the broccoli to steam and flavors to meld.
- Remove the lid, stir well, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
