  • 2 cups broccoli florets Wash and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce Choose halal-friendly soy sauce for compliance.
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce Feel free to adjust amount based on taste preference.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil For cooking the beef.

  1. Wash the broccoli florets and chop them into bite-sized pieces. Mince the garlic and ginger, set aside.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, stirring regularly.
  3. Add the minced garlic and ginger to the skillet. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, careful not to burn them.
  4. Toss the broccoli florets into the skillet, and add the soy sauce and oyster sauce. Mix well to coat evenly.
  5. Cover the skillet and simmer for about 5 minutes to allow the broccoli to steam and flavors to meld.
  6. Remove the lid, stir well, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
