Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 4 pieces salmon fillets
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large lemon, sliced
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • for garnish fresh parsley, chopped

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut four pieces of aluminum foil large enough to wrap each salmon fillet.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place a salmon fillet in the center of each foil piece and drizzle the garlic butter mixture generously over each fillet.
  5. Lay lemon slices on top of the fillets.
  6. Fold the foil over the salmon to create a tight packet to retain moisture.
Cooking
  1. Place the foil packets on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through.
  2. Remove from the oven, carefully open the foil packets, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

You can substitute herbs like dill or thyme for additional flavor. For other fish options, tilapia or trout work well. Ensure the salmon packets are sealed tightly and monitor cooking time to prevent overcooking.
