- Wash the tomatoes and cucumber thoroughly. Slice the tomatoes and cucumber into rounds, and also slice the mozzarella into equal pieces.
- Arrange the cucumber, tomato, and mozzarella slices on a large serving platter, alternating them to create a beautiful presentation.
- Tuck fresh basil leaves in between the layers and on top of the salad for a pop of color and flavor.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Drizzle this dressing over the prepared salad.
- Finish with a generous sprinkle of salt and pepper.
