Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 lbs steak (cut into bite-sized pieces) Sirloin or chuck steak works best for tenderness.
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup bell peppers (optional, sliced) Adds taste and color.

Method

Preparation
  1. Cut the steak into bite-sized pieces to ensure even cooking and tenderness.
  2. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, olive oil, salt, black pepper, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Whisk until well blended.
  3. Place the steak pieces in a large bowl or resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate for at least 15-30 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Transfer the marinated steak into your slow cooker. If using bell peppers, add them.
  2. Set the slow cooker to low and cook for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the steak is tender and shreds easily.
  3. Serve warm and enjoy with your desired toppings.

Notes

For best results, choose quality cuts of steak and customize your marinades. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days in the fridge or freeze for 2-3 months.
