  • 1 lb ground beef (Halal)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 4 cups beef broth (Halal)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (Halal)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup diced potatoes
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (15 oz)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no pink remains, breaking it into smaller pieces. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. In your crockpot, combine the browned beef with the chopped onion, diced carrots, diced celery, diced potatoes, diced tomatoes, and beef broth. Season it all with salt and pepper according to your taste.
Cooking
  1. Set your crockpot to low and let it cook for about 6-8 hours. If you’re in a hurry, you can set it on high for about 3-4 hours; just be sure to keep an eye on it.
  2. Near the end of the cooking time, stir in the milk and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and incorporated.
Serving

Notes
