  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Cooking Orzo
  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add a pinch of salt. Toss in the orzo pasta, cooking it according to package instructions until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
Sautéing Garlic
  1. In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, stirring constantly until it becomes fragrant (about 30 seconds).
Adding Broth
  1. Pour in the vegetable or chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
Incorporating Cream
  1. Stir in the heavy cream. Allow it to simmer gently, letting the flavors meld together (about 3-5 minutes).
Mixing in Orzo and Cheese
  1. Add the cooked orzo back to the pot and sprinkle in the grated Parmesan cheese. Mix well until the cheese melts and the orzo is fully coated in the creamy sauce.
Seasoning and Serving
