Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 medium zucchinis, sliced
  • 1 medium bell pepper, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
Sauce and Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for cooking
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: Sesame seeds for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Prepare your ingredients: Begin by slicing the chicken breast, zucchinis, and bell pepper into bite-sized pieces. Mince those garlic cloves.
Cooking
  1. In a large pan or wok, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced chicken to the pan, seasoning it lightly with salt and pepper. Stir fry for about 5-7 minutes or until the chicken is well-cooked and no longer pink in the center.
  3. Toss in the minced garlic, sliced zucchini, and bell pepper. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes.
  4. Pour in the soy sauce, mixing well to coat the chicken and veggies evenly. Let everything cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and serve your delicious stir fry warm, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Substitutions: Feel free to switch the chicken for beef or tofu to suit your dietary preferences. Timing: Have all your ingredients prepped and ready to go before you start cooking; stir-frying is a quick process! Common mistakes: Avoid overcrowding the pan; this can lead to steaming instead of that nice sear we all love.
