Preparation
- Start by slicing your chicken breasts into thin strips and washing your broccoli florets. Mince the garlic and set aside.
Cooking
- In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced chicken to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for about 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
- Once the chicken is cooked, add the broccoli florets to the skillet. Stir well to combine, then cover the skillet with a lid. Let it steam for about 4-5 minutes, or until the broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp.
- Remove the lid and add the minced garlic. Stir continuously for about 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant. If desired, add a splash of soy sauce for extra flavor.
- Once everything is well-mixed and the chicken is juicy, remove from heat and serve hot.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. For longer storage, freeze for up to one month and reheat with a splash of water to maintain moisture.
