Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup milk (or plant-based milk like almond, coconut, or oat milk)
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries (frozen can work in a pinch too)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • a pinch salt
Optional Toppings
  • to taste sliced almonds
  • to taste chia seeds
  • to taste additional fruits

Method

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, milk, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir well to ensure all the oats are fully combined with the milk and flavorings.
  2. Gently fold in the fresh blueberries, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the oat mixture.
  3. Divide the mixture into two jars or containers with lids, making sure to leave some extra space at the top as the oats will expand.
  4. Secure the lids on the jars and place them in the refrigerator. Allow them to chill overnight (or for at least 4 hours) to let the oats absorb the milk.
Serving
  1. In the morning, grab your jars from the fridge and give them a good stir. Feel free to add toppings of your choice—sliced almonds or extra blueberries work great!
  2. Dig in and savor the deliciousness of your Easy Blueberry Overnight Oats!

Notes

Store your Easy Blueberry Overnight Oats in the refrigerator for up to 3 to 4 days. For long-term storage, consider keeping a batch in the freezer. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight or warm gently with a splash of milk.
