Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast Cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper, freshly ground
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil For sautéing
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth (low sodium)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional for thickening)
  • 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped For garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Slice the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a bowl, mix the chicken pieces with the freshly ground black pepper and soy sauce. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken pieces and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and stir for an additional minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer. If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix the cornstarch with cold water and add it to the skillet.
  4. Continue to stir until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
