Preparation
- Cook the rice according to package instructions, preferably using a rice cooker.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and fully cooked, breaking it up as it cooks.
- Add soy sauce and sesame oil to the cooked beef and stir to combine.
- Blanch mixed vegetables in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until tender but vibrant. Drain and set aside.
- If using eggs, fry them sunny-side up until whites are set and yolks remain runny.
Assembly
- In a bowl, place a portion of rice at the bottom, layer with seasoned ground beef, mixed vegetables, and fried egg.
- Add Gochujang to taste and mix well.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.
Notes
You can store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. For best results, keep rice and toppings separate when freezing. Reheat in the microwave or stir-fry to maintain texture.
