Preparation
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, add the sesame oil. Once hot, add the thinly sliced beef and season with salt and pepper. Stir-fry until the beef is browned, about 3-5 minutes. Remove the beef from the pan and set it aside.
- In the same skillet, add a little more oil if necessary, then toss in the minced garlic and mixed vegetables. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are vibrant and tender-crisp.
- Add the cooked noodles back into the skillet with the vegetables. Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, mixing everything well. Return the beef to the pan and stir to combine, cooking for another minute until everything is heated through.
- Remove the pan from heat and garnish with sliced green onions. Serve warm and enjoy your scrumptious Easy Beef Chow Mein!
Notes
Leftover chow mein can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days in an airtight container. To reheat, use a skillet over medium heat with a splash of water or oil, or microwave in 30-second intervals.
