Preparation
- Slice the beef sirloin thinly against the grain.
- Blanch the broccoli florets in boiling water for 2 minutes, then rinse under cold water.
- Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and beef broth in a bowl to create the sauce.
Cooking
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Add sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3 to 5 minutes.
- Pour in the sauce mixture, stirring until it thickens slightly.
- Add the blanched broccoli and mix until heated through.
Serving
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve hot, ideally over rice or noodles.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze in portions for up to a month. Reheat in a pan or microwave with a splash of water to prevent drying.
