- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan by greasing it lightly.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork or potato masher, then stir in the melted butter until well combined.
- Add in the sugar and egg, mixing thoroughly until it forms a cohesive batter.
- Stir in the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt, then gradually fold it into the banana mixture until there are no floury streaks.
- Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
