Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk until well mixed.
Combining Ingredients
  1. In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until well incorporated.
  2. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir gently to combine, leaving a few lumps.
  3. Fold in chopped apples.
Baking
  1. Line a muffin tray with paper liners or grease it lightly. Pour the batter into the muffin cups, filling each one about two-thirds full.
  2. Bake for 18-20 minutes, checking doneness with a toothpick inserted in the center.
Cooling
  1. Allow the muffins to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
