Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk until well mixed.
Combining Ingredients
- In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until well incorporated.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir gently to combine, leaving a few lumps.
- Fold in chopped apples.
Baking
- Line a muffin tray with paper liners or grease it lightly. Pour the batter into the muffin cups, filling each one about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, checking doneness with a toothpick inserted in the center.
Cooling
- Allow the muffins to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Store muffins in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature, or refrigerate for a week. Muffins can be frozen for up to 3 months.
