Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Cooking
- Arrange the seasoned wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake the wings in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, turning them halfway through.
- Once golden and cooked through, remove them from the oven and brush on your favorite barbecue sauce.
- Return the wings to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes to allow the sauce to caramelize.
Serving
- Take the wings out of the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the wings in barbecue sauce for at least an hour before cooking. Consider broiling for 2-3 minutes at the end for extra crispiness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the fridge or freeze for up to 2 months.
