Ingredients
  

Main ingredients
  • 1 can 1 can of chickpeas (15 oz), drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • Optional: other spices (cumin, chili powder, etc.) For variation and added flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas under cold running water.
  2. Pat the chickpeas dry using a clean kitchen towel or paper towel.
Seasoning
  1. In a bowl, combine the dried chickpeas, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  3. Cook for about 15 to 18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
Cooling
  1. Once golden and crispy, remove them from the air fryer and let cool slightly.

Notes

For additional flavor, consider adding onion powder or smoked paprika as a substitute for garlic powder. Monitor cooking time as air fryer variations can affect crispiness.
