- Gather all ingredients for a smooth process and line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper for easier removal later.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine oats, nut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and protein powder. Stir until everything is well incorporated. If using chocolate chips or dried fruit, fold them into the mixture now.
- Transfer the mixture to your prepared baking dish. Press down firmly with your hands or a spatula to create an even layer.
- Place the dish in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 1 hour to firm up.
- Once firm, remove the mixture from the dish using the edges of the parchment paper. Cut into bars, and enjoy.

For nut allergies, use seed butter like sunflower seed butter. Add spices like cinnamon or nutmeg for flavor variations. Ensure the mixture is pressed down firmly in the baking dish to avoid crumbles. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week or freeze for longer shelf life.
