  • 2 ripe bananas 2 ripe bananas The riper the banana, the sweeter your bites will be.
  • 1 cup 1 cup of rolled oats Provides texture and makes the bites more filling.
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup of your choice of nut butter Peanut butter, almond butter, or sunflower seed butter work great!

Preparation
  1. Start by peeling the ripe bananas and placing them in a mixing bowl.
  2. Use a fork to mash the bananas until they reach a smooth consistency.
  3. Stir in the rolled oats into the mashed bananas. Your mix may seem a bit dry, but that’s perfectly okay!
  4. Finally, add in your choice of nut butter and mix until everything is well combined.
  5. Using your hands, take small portions of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls.
  6. Place the banana bites in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving, allowing them to firm up slightly.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. You can freeze them for longer storage, just ensure to use a freezer-safe bag or container.
